Over the past week I have been working on making a clay bowl. I first started with a block of clay. I had no clue what I was going to turn it into. I started forming it into a bowl shape until I found a design of bowl that I liked. I tried forming it but struggled to get the right shape and form while doing this process. Once I was satisfied with what I had and did not want to touch it no more I set it in a place to dry. Then after it dried it was bisqued fired and then was set out to be glazed. I then picked my colors of glaze "Mosaic Blue" and "Sassy Yellow". I chose to a midnight sky look with "Mosaic Blue" background with "Sassy Yellow" stars. After that it was fired again and ended with my final product. I was so happy to see the "Sassy Yellow" stars show up on the dark "Mosaic Blue" sky. Overall it turned out really nice but would have been better if I had smoothed the edges out more. Through this process I developed craft by trying materials that I was not very familiar with. I also engaged and persist through my mistake by making them into something new.
